Our Impact On Others

Our Impact On Others

Everyone fears violence, just as they fear death. Likewise, all people love life. So see yourself in others. Then it is not possible to hurt anyone. Then you can do no harm. ~ The Buddha

Few of us realize the impact of Karma that we infuse into this world and life, as well as ourselves, through the treatment we deliver to another person. Everything event that occurs in our lifetime, from seeming chance meetings to divine rendezvous where our whole life takes a sudden conventional or unconventional turn, has its origin in Karma.

To come to that place where we can clearly realize that whomever is before us lives within us, whether we like them or not, is an insight that offers us a rare glance into the maze that has become the nature of our Karma. To truly understand and respect this insight of Karma makes every moment and all acts, no matter how minute they appear to be to our mental competence, powerful metaphors in our day-to-day life. They shape and mold, even define, our entire lifetime and those yet to come.

An authentic spiritual path is not about getting “ahead” in this world nor how to be more comfortable on this planet. It is about learning how to care for those things that are truly important, that which pertains to the whole of the world and not just our small space on in it. We are here to become one in the whole of Life itself. It is here that we find the true meaning of our life upon the face of our living…something most consider throughout their lifetime.

Everyone has his or her place in our lives. Everyone is significant unto our state of being and is in our life as the opportunity for transformation. ~ Siraj

An authentic spiritual path is not about getting ahead in this world or how to be more comfortable on this planet. It is about learning how to care for those things that are truly important to the whole world and not just our small space in it. We are here to become one in the whole of Life itself. It is here that we find the meaning of our life upon the face of our living…something most never consider important throughout their lifetime.

No matter where we are in this lifetime or on this planet, something significant is occurring that is offering us a way to self-realize our Karma. For most of us, the consideration of Karma as a way-shower to Love is mentally and emotionally intolerable. We see others in this world simply as a means to an end or as relationships that must be sustained due to emotional ties and obligations. If we were to realize the importance of everyone in our life, we would realize that nothing is as we think it to be.

Whoever is before you, is within you. I cannot fully express in words how vital it is to breathe in this explicit Truth of life. Living this Truth, we become what Jesus taught in his magnificent Beatitudes: peacemakers. Unfortunately, our reluctance to feel its relevance in our life through an authentic spiritual practice causes unnecessary suffering, war and disruption to our world. We impact each other as a form of disharmony that affects everyone and everything on the Earth.

To become a peacemaker is an art form that is realized through consciousness. ~ Siraj

We must be willing to recognize the presence of anyone who is before us as a form of ourselves and seek to offer compassion to sustain the energies that will transform us both into the state of Love, which is our authentic nature. This is most people cannot meditate without great difficulty. They have a Karma that is plaguing them through an emotional push and pull due to their lack of forgiveness and the blessed state of mercy. They cannot reckon this through logic and reasoning – it never enters their minds that they might be facing something more profound than just mental constraints.

Everyone who is before us is there to offer us a chance to harmonize with Love. Learning how to put aside frivolous assumptions, fetishes or compulsions for the sake of allowing Love to live through us is the discipline of being merciful and ultimately the peacemaker of your own lifetime. The ability to deeply understand this comes only when we have worn out our human moral assumptions and arrive at the place where Love is more vital than self-righteousness. To live in a peacemaker state of being requires selflessness and deep humility.

Every gesture of loving kindness matters - be caring and compassionate with everyone who comes before you

Learn what it means to ``yield and overcome” as Lao-tzu taught in the Tao - apply this to everything

See how you love - your Karma becomes free when you are in harmony with the nature of Life itself…as Love
