Hear What You Cannot See

Hear What You Cannot See

When wisdom awakens you, you will see truth wherever you look. Truth is all you’ll see. ~ Ajahn Chah

The problems most of us face in our life are the reflection of what we can “see” with our mind. When we learn how to listen to everything we see, a profound sense of wisdom arises from within and allows us to recognize (see) the Truth wherever we look. The issue is that we are divided by our “minds eye.” It is from here that we mistake the “false for the true and the true for the false” as the Buddha taught us in the Dhammapada.

The issue is that we are are not much interested in Truth. We are only interested in whatever supports our “point of view,” which has to do with the desire, pride and subtle, submerged hate that governs all of this in our unconscious.

My effort is not to show people how “wrong” they are, but to help them move into a process where they can learn how to recognize that which is obvious to the Heart, but not the mind.

The mind and Heart do not need to be pitted against each other. ~ Siraj

We impair our lives through the thoughts that we fight with: what we “want” and “don’t want” for ourselves in this world. It is this process of fighting for what we “want” rather than realizing what IS that undermines us and creates deep confusion, doubt and depression.

We are never really fighting with the world or its seeming circumstances. We are actually in a war with our own elements, and hence project our spiritual ignorance and indifference into our living. We have trained ourselves to live in what we morally accept as “right and wrong,” which only serves to create a cul-de-sac of pain and sorrow through involuntary and unconscious responses to hate as a way of protecting ourselves from the very elements that we think are “right and wrong.”

We can only “hear” and “see” from the premise of our own fearful and hateful state of mind, emotion and body. This makes it very difficult for us to give up our positions of perspective and come to a place where the frame of mind can be opened to the vastness of the Love that lives within each of us.

In an authentic spiritual practice, the mind and Heart work in an even flow as the spiritual Heart becomes the synergy of a person's life. ~ Siraj

Meditation creates an inner posture that becomes a space of revelation about the state of being and the Karma that governs all of Life. When we can learn to listen and hear beyond the mind’s desires, beliefs and ideals, we come to a place where we can recognize the Truth that we are here to allow for a much greater treasure to occur – the wealth of Love through consciousness.

Learning how to no longer engage ourselves in the collective unconscious is one of the greatest achievements of living. To no longer “talk” to the “collective” and learn how to live with SILENCE as the language of Love is one of the most profound skills we can ever know on earth and in this lifetime. To do this, we must practice distancing ourselves from our thoughts and no longer indulging the ego through the mind…and vice versa. Hence, we must be willing to experience our life absent from the chatter of mind and the emotional pain-body through discipline and a profound sense of kindness.

Learn to listen to the no-thingness of Being. ~ Siraj

Most people have no sense of compassion and its amazing rectifying quality that places us back into harmony with Love. To learn how to let the mind be the mirror of Love is simply to remove ourselves from the influence of emotional fear and its “justified” hate.

Once we begin to “hear” what we “see” we will no longer be fooled by the matter of appearances and will begin to flow into and out of everything in this world, touched only by the presence of a Life that is Love. Only then can the veil of emotional moralism lift so we can self-realize that which our mind cannot currently accept due to living so judgmentally by only seeking to fulfill the ego’s whims and desires.

We are not here to have what we want. We are here to know who we are. This life is filled with Karma every moment, a Karma that is seeking to reveal itself to us so that we may find the Way of the road less traveled.

Do not allow the appearances of life to be the language of your living

Learn how to listen to your life - learn the language of Life and know your own loving Karma through meditation and deep inner silence

The world can give us nothing but that which we find within us - ours is to find the surrender that allows for peace

Seek Love at all costs to the needs of this world - it is in this moment that you find the Truth by listening to its message of Love
