Tibetan Buddhist Meditation is ideally suited to transforming the stressful states of mind we are currently living through in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Through a form of meditation called Samatha or “single-pointed attention,” the meditator achieves vipasyana (insight for “seeing into the nature of all elements of life”). In Sanskrit, Samatha means: “tranquility of mind,” often referred to as “calm abiding.” Samatha has five progressive stages: stable attention, powerful mindfulness, joy, tranquility and equanimity. The practice of calm abiding leads to the insight of Transcendence.

Without formal connection to Buddhist Meditation, through our shared goals we can find Samatha in the deeper, quieter, more contemplative forms of ambient music that the Boys have coupled with meditation and breath work. Within the January Meditations (and the others that will follow throughout 2021) a new quality of energy is offered. During the new year of 2021 the Meditations, Workshops and Retreats will be devoted to an abiding Love that simply IS the Authentic that indwells us all. These gifts to you are inspired tones that reveal authentic Love, which will be the impetus of our theme for 2021: THE CALM ABIDING.

Though we cannot join together for the January Workshops or at Mt Madonna for the March Retreat, we can commune through the January Meditations and Ambient Tones, which are now available. Please contact Gregory directly to order.
